A slightly different Anansi than in other stories. It's for all those naughty little boys who don't believe in just desserts.
Anansi crawls inside a melon and convinces various animals that it's a talking melon. One of my favorite read-alouds for 2nd grade, although some may find it less than ideal, because it makes fun of gullible people.
