The author wrote a longer book about Jackson earlier in life, so this is sort of a sketch. Very readable. This would be a good source to learn about the 2nd Bank crisis.
This guy seems to specialize in writing different books about Andrew Jackson, he's written several. He did branch out and write a book on John Quincy Adams.
