This book was interesting. It kept my attention, which is rare for me. In fact, I read it in one night. I stayed up all night to finish it. I enjoyed learning how the Italian justice system works. While I do not doubt that Amanda was involved in the murder, I don't think she would have been found guilty had the investigation been carried out so sloppily in the U.S.
I didn't really like how the author seems like a total snob and brags about being such a wonderful journalist while bashing the Knox family and every American reporter who has a different opinion from hers. However, it was a decent book that kept me entertained.

This book was interesting, especially in regard to the court system in Italy. I have to say that if I were ever in trouble I would not want to be there. I did not totally form an opinion as to the guilt or innocence of Amanda. There was just too much left on the table and too much of a media circus to not think that officials and others could not steer it in any direction they wished with the right media coverage on their side. It could have been a great reality TV show. . Sad but true even though I am not much on reality TV. I am glad I read this book...a real eye opener.
