This is a very moving story of a family during the great depresson, the hardships they faced & how the Lord always was present to help them. I felt like I was being pulled into the life of this family by the author as all the main characters were well-fleshed out & the whole story felt as real as if it were a true story. This is well worth reading when you have time to read slowly & just enjoy the unfolding of the story.
