Heart-warming and tear jerking.
The southern tradition of " You are your brothers keeper lives in this town." A story of southern family in a rural town overcoming great poverty and hardship with the help of their community members. (aka angles)

This was a wonderful book, I really loved the perservance and love of all people. It was an eye opener to how persecuted the Aferican American people were.
