I love reading Melody Carlson's Christmas books! What would Christmas be without her deeply moving and utterly beautiful stories? Angels in the Snow is about profound loss in a young woman's life. She goes to a very secluded mountain cabin in the winter to try to return to the creative artist that she was before the accident that changed her whole being. God sends help in many different forms to help Claire start to live again. Beautiful, beautiful story!

This is a great story about dealing with grief and how a set of footprints in the snow slowly lead a young woman to heal. I loved it.

I WAS SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THIS BOOK. wHAT A GREAT READ. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN, VERY HEARTWARMING AND A HAPPY ENDING.JUST WHAT YOU NEED ON A COLD WEEKEND, A WARM AND COZY BOOK
A grieving widow retreats to the Cascade Mountains to recover from her loss of both husband and young son. Hope eventually comes in unexpected ways.
This book was a little disappointing. The story develops slowly and there is not much development with the characters. There is a lot of discussion about snow, white, and more snow, and more white. This is a pleasant story, good for light reading, but slow-moving.
Reaching the clearing, she noticed how the two sets of tracks had left the main trail, diverting to the right. She followed the tracks with her eyes, curious as to where they might be going. And that's when she saw them.
This is a wonderful novella from Melody Carlson about hope & healing in the midst of grief & loss. A young artist has lost her husband & child through an accident. She hides herself in a friend's cabin in hopes of being able to paint again. When she cannot paint, she begins walking in the snow only to find footprints but not the people who made them. Her search for the owners of the footprints in the snow end with new hope for her, a fresh chance to paint again and a possible new future. I highly recommend any of Meldoy Carlson's books.
Very refreshing reading material.
