Consider this along the lines of a 'shifter' erotic book. The stories of the brothers are all markedly different. While I enjoyed Martin's story most I thought the author had some originality to what has become a standard in erotica. I also appreciated the fact that there was some detail in the stories. I have found repeatedly that I feel like I paid too much for a book but in this case it was worth the money. I would definitely try Lacy Danes again. If you like Kimberly Zant or Kaitlyn O'Connor you will probably enjoy this writer. This is not sci-fi and not quite as intense in some ways but she's really got the touch!

This book will be an all time favortie of mine forever. Definitely not for the faint of heart when it comes to erotica. Every other page has something to get your blood pumping.

Danes offers four stories of the brothers Ursus who encounter their life mates and proceed to seduce and trick them into agreeing to being mated. Because this uses the familiar "I'm ruled by my inner animal so if I decide you are the one. You are the one." concept - there is very little suspense as to if the couple shall come together (so to speak). However, each brother has a distinct personality and approach and the writing is not too bad. Sex and lots of it! 3 stars

I did not care for this book. None of the characters were real and if I had to hear the word fettering one more time I would have just burned this book. Maybe if I had looked at it as a comedy or a drinking game I would have liked it more. Although if a person took a shot everytime the word fettering was used they would be passed out drunk by the first story.
