It took me over 40 years to reach for it, but I finally read it. Loved it! I laughed out loud and teared up, which are signs of a good book for me. The writing of the higher quality that one would expect from the time period, but not at all dry. The characters and dialogue are engaging and I immediately ordered the next book.
