I don't read Dunn's mysteries one right after the other. So I forget how good she is. I'm not sure how Dunn does it, but after I am a couple chapters into most of her novels, it becomes a page-turner, as I need (emphasis on the 'need') to find out how the case is solved. It also helps she makes reading about Britain-between-the-wars as interesting as she does.
