This is a disappointing explanation of the ancient polytheistic religions of the Mesopotamians and succeeding cultures, including the Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians, and Assyrians. I tried to read this book twice but could not see a logical pattern of explanation (the story jumped all over the place).

According to the intriguing theory proposed by Zecharia Sitchin, the humanoid Anunnaki came to Earth 450,000 years ago from the planet Nibiru.

I suggest going to Wikipedia and reading their summary. It made more sense.
