A military take on the Left Behind series, this was an interesting book, though it did not capture my attention quite as much as the series it was based on did.

Having read the entire LEFT BEHIND Series and the Babylon Rising Series... Having been in the Military(40+) years ago I highly suggest the Military Series by Mel Odom. Action..emotions..language and story line brings home the story of the Rapture.

If you love apocalyptic fiction you will enjoy this book. Similar to the Left Behind series, it takes place just before and at the time of the Rapture. Lots of detail in this book about military equipment that meant nothing to me and I was able to skim over.
I read this book and the second of the series after reading the entire original end time series written by Lahaye and Jenkins.
The first two books are written at least partly, from the point of view of a non-believer soldier on the front fighting in one of the wars taking place during the time of Tribulation.
Lots of action and some very moving moments.
