This book and the other 9 or 10 in this series that cover the entire length of the Appalachian trail really defy any critical review. They fill a unique niche and no one else publishes such a guide. For this reason they all earn a "five star" rating here on Paperback Swap. For anyone who wants to attempt any type of hiking project on the trail of any length, these guides are invaluable and irreplacable.
