Great detail and colorful pictures of this book makes aquarium keeping easy enough for anyone. I like how the discription of each fish gives charted information about water hardness, tank type, temperature, swimming level (tank bottom, middle or top), eventual size of fish, food, and ease of keeping, where the fish is from, and even any special needs. There is more information, but these are what I am interested in. There is a section on setting up a tank, what equipment is needed, and a detailed section of live plants and their needs. Even though I have been keeping an aquarium for years, I learned a few new things from Dick Mill's book.
Excellent reference book for beginners
