I actually liked it less than the first two but it was enjoyable. It was a quick read and I loved all the characters. I really liked that both Eleana and Archangel are both forced to return to face their biological families. It was intriguing to see the relationship develop between Eleana and her father's family. I couldn't wait to read those parts of the books.

Problems I had with the book was that in a way the plot moved slowly and when the resolution came it was very anticlimactic. Also, I never thought I would say this, but there was too much sex in the book. I love steamy love scenes but there were a lot of redundant sex between Eleana and Archangel and I'm not sure it added to the book. There were times where they were going to do something urgent only to end up having sex. Or they need to win an argument, so they would have sex. And like I mention before, a lot of the scenes were kind of redundant. A couple of them were pretty good but about half of them were the same thing over and over again.

Other than that, it was a fun book and I would definitely continue reading the series.

This is the third book in the Guild Hunter series. It opens with Elena returning to New York and getting ready to start to reclaim her life - with a few additions. However, the plans for her return quickly change when a vampire attacks a school that her two half-sisters attend. Reconnecting with her friends has to be fit in around a world dealing with crazy weather and vampires going rogue and giving into blood lust in record numbers - signs that one of the Ancient Sleeping angels may be waking.

The story line through most of the book was pretty good. I like watching Elena and Raphael figure out the balance of their relationship - she so much weaker than him in every way, but determined not to be coddled any more than necessary. They certainly reached a more healthy balance than they had at the beginning of book 2.

There were some interesting developments with her family, as she finally gets to interact with her step mother and half sisters for the first time since she moved out - and none of them wound up being quite what she expected. Her relationship with her remaining full sister changed as well.

One thing I was quiet thankful to see changed was a drastic reduction in the flashbacks to the unpleasant memories of her childhood. They were still there, but at a more reasonable level.

I didn't care for the ending it felt rushed and the big revelation left me going "Wait, what?". It will be interesting how the balance of power among the archangels settles out in the next book.

Wow! This book was fantastic.

Archangel's Consort is the third book in the Guild Hunter Series. It is every bit if not more enjoyable than the first two. In Archangel's Consort we see Raphael and Elena explore their relationship with each other. The horror that is happening in the world with vampires breaking their contracts and the awakening of an ancient angel is the perfect backdrop for this couple to learn about each other. We also get to learn a little more about Raphael's Seven. The entire book was fast past and enthralling. I love the language and word choices that Singh makes in this series. It really does feel like there could be angels walking around.

While the book sets you up for the next installment in the series it is certainly a satisfying read and I would highly recommend it.

WOW!!! ABSOLUTELY A PAGE TURNING ADDICTION!!! I haven't been this addicted to a series since I discovered Kenyon's Dark Hunters. Have you ever read a book that you stayed up all night to finish? This is that series. I love Elena and Raphael (and Illium too). This series is so fast paced and passionate that I fall into the story as if I'm there. (this series makes me want to fly....) As before, Elena's life is in constant motion, from learning to fly and fight, to dealing with her family drama, and creating the balance with her and Raphael. We should all be so lucky as to have a Raphael! I don't want to give away any hints, but this is a MUST READ book. If you have not read the first 2 in this series, start at the beginning, I know you will fall in love with it too.
