Madriani feels compelled to find the motive behind the public executions of the two men and his search takes him from California to the jungles of the Yucatan. Each chapter makes you want to hear more. A very good mystery!

I thoroughly enjoyed the story and it's amazing how fast a driving trip goes while listening to a book. This book definitely held my interest. I would highly recommend it!
