REALLY good Boldt/Matthews book. Focus on Daphne and LaMoia this time, and really brings depth to the characters. Oh, good story too!!!

Very good and suspenseful
I had trouble putting this book down. The author set the story in Seattle, in the newly discovered Underground City, and this fasinating setting is a great backdrop for this fast paced, exciting mystery thriller. There were multiple plots throughout, and they wove in and out of each other. I couldn't guess the outcome, until the very end. Even some romance thown in to sweeten the plot. This is a fantastic writer, and I am determined to read all of his books!

This is the eighth novel in this series about the cases of Lou Boldt. Here, a trio of murders related to a derelict area of Seattle calls out for the skills of police psychologist Daphne Mathews (and Lou's ex), but she's got a number of ongoing issues already, including a stalker she used to have a patient
this book got me from page one and kept my attention through the whole story! I learned a lot of things and immediately ran out and got more of this books! Great story!

This book is hailed as the best in the Lou Bolt_Daphne Matthews series. I really liked the others, but this one did not hold my interest. I didn't even finish reading it. What was different , I can't say. I just thought it boring.

For my In House Thriller reader, this was the novel that made him finally lose patience with Pearson. Too much of the plot depends on characters doing stupid, unprofessional things. A great shame, because it was a series that started well ...
