I heard Benjamin Zander speak before I purchased the book. The book contains some gems, and I'm keeping it for my personal library. Nothing quite matches the verve and engagement of hearing Zanderin person, though!

Might've been a good self help book but they tried to target it to "businesspeople" and it really makes little sense to me. What works in the music classroom and the psychologist's couch has little relevence to the business world. However, in its defense, 2 people I know really like this book. It wasn't for me...
