The book is dated due to being published in 1996 as technology has changed the ways securities are researched and traded. Having said that, this is probably one of the most informative books you will find on short selling. It is not one of those: if you see this chart pattern do this books. It requires doing some digging into SEC disclosure forms, and it tells you what to look for and how to interrupt it. Much of the information listed can now be found online making access easier and quicker. If you are considering short selling as a way to invest, you need to read this book. There may be later editions that have been printed. I had been on the waiting list for a loooong time.
