I was told that if I liked Isabel Allende's work, I would also enjoy reading THE ARTIST OF THE MISSING,...I didn't. I couldn't figure out the purpose of it all. For me it was reminiscent of a Stanley Kubrick film.
I was told that the book needed to be read many times to be able to understand it, because of all the symbolism and layers of meaning...I couldn't get through it once. But you are welcome to give it a try!
