I hold this book in extremely high regard! I have not been diagnosed with Asperger's myself and may not have it. However, I'm a person with a high IQ and ADHD, and some of my own characteristics are slightly similar or cause me to feel like a misfit in the workplace in the same manner as the cases described in this book. For example, not always being able to network successfully or make "fast friends" with my coworkers or supervisors, even though I am a cheerful and friendly person with friends outside of work who share my interests - or completely going to pieces when I've accepted a promotion or supervisory position. This book helped me not to feel so alone and to see a real correlation between the difficulties and possible reasons for them. I really liked the degree of seriousness used in this book but Rudy Simone expressed a kind and fun personality that was very comforting as well. I recommend this book to anyone who has Asperger's, is a parent, boss or coworker of someone with Asperger's, or just people like me who have experienced difficulty navigating the world of work at times. I also think it's a great resource that focuses on adults with Asperger's or on the autism spectrum; I've learned in searching for quality books on ADHD and the autism spectrum that the vast majority focus on children or young adolescents.
