I ordered this book, both books actually, with no expectations that I would particularly enjoy them. To my surprise, and pleasure, I enjoyed the stories a great deal. A completely different, and plausible, view of our Revolutionary War. The patriots great clamor for "freedom" from a tyrannical monarchy, takes on a different feel when viewed from the eyes of a slave. The fact that our 'hero' doesn't know he is a slave....for a time, only adds to the the uniqueness of this story.
