Number 7 in the Aunt Dimity series. A wonderful cozy mystery. Lori and newcomer, Nicholas (nephew of the Buntings) are our sleuths as they try to solve a murder. While searching for clues, they find that everyone in the village has some secret--past and present. This mystery within a mystery makes the story interesting and enjoyable. Aunt Dimity fans will be very pleased with this installment in the series.

This British cozy tells about Lori, who just returned from the U.
s. she learns that the village gossip, Prunella Hooper has been murdered. No one liked Prunella very much and the village is keeping quiet about the killer because everyone disliked her, but Lori sets out to find the killer anyway.

I love this series. Here there's a gossipy troublemaker in the village who ends up dead. Lori helps to solve the crime with the help of the charming Nicholas, a visitor to the vicar.

#7 in the Series. Everyone has a story. In this outing, Lori returns to Finch from a 3 month visit to the states only to find that the horrible Prunella "Pruneface" Hooper has been murdered. With the help of Nicholas, the nephew of the vicars wife, they set out to find the secrets of their little town and to find out who "didn't" have a motive. Everyone in this idyllic village has a secret, but it's up to Lori and Nicholas to keep their secrets but to also solve the crime with some help from the wonderful Aunt Dimity. I enjoy the theme of Atherton's books. They are just the right amount of cozy.
differnt so intrestering mystery

I liked this book very much. I tend to like the last books in this series; the ones where the village becomes a working group. You have to follow all the characters and you get so that you know them and like them.

The Aunt Dimity books are fun, fast, funny reading. The main character is a young mother who solves mysteries with the help of her dead Aunt Dimity, who writes to her in a journal.
Interesting plot --- I love reading about the English countryside.
I love this series of mysteries, this one has a great ending!
Another sequel in Nancy's bag. This one was good enough for a quick read and I love that there are so many possibilities without making you stay up all night to find out whoooo did it!

A great series for cozy lovers. I recommend it!
Good Mystery.. kept me guessing.
this is a fun read! If you like Dorothy Cannell, you'll love this author. Although this is handcover, it is not much bigger than a paperback. (Applies to listing by MysteryM)
Not bad but kind of slow moving - not enough excitement for me
great reading, can't put them down
