I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.  But I was wondering if anybody knew of authors like Jodi Picoult, or books that are like hers?  She is probably my favorite author but I would like to check out other ones.  Thanks!

I really like Diane Chamberlain, Amy Hatvany, Heather Gudenkauf, Kristin Hannah, Juliette Fay, and Lisa Scottoline's women's fiction

Have you read much by Barbara Kingsolver?   I think they are equally great contemporary authors.

I loved Picoult's House Rules and Mercy.  My two favs.
