Book recommendations for readers interested in the sciences: I'm currently reading this great, amusing, scientific book by Mary Roach entitled BONK.  It's the science of sex, written with humor.  Go figure.

Another excellent book is Diane Ackerman's An Alchemy of Mind.  Naturalist/poet/author writing about the workings of the brain.  Fascinating and beautifully written. 

I just finished Roach's other books, Stiff & Spook (Stiff I'd give 4/5, Spook 3/5) and Bonk is next on my TBR list.

Also really enjoyed "The Family that Couldn't Sleep" "Dr. Tatiana's Sex Advice to All Creation" and "An American Plague"

And after Bonk, I plan to read "The Ghost Map" about the cholera epidemic in London.
