I'm not a huge fan of the secret baby story line, but in some cases it works. This one did not. There was a flimsy excuse, at best, for keeping the baby a secret, yet life went happily on with hardly any anger. While I do appreciate my books not mirroring reality exactly, I really felt strongly that with the lack of valid excuse for keeping the baby a secret, there should have at a minimum been alot more anger and tears and unresolved feelings/issues before getting to that HEA.
2nd in the series - another great one by Stephanie Bond. Once I started the book, I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the 3rd one!!!
Although I think the premise of rebuilding a town after a tornado is a bit of a stretch, I did like the story.
Lots of good "romance" stuff in this one....if I tell you, I'll give too much away. Looking forward to next in series.
