Set in Tinker Cove, Maine, Lucy Stone, mom and part-time sleuth, investigate a crime at her children's school. Good dialogue and good mystery.
This book in the series is a tad different than the first three. There is alot going on, and the first chapter or two really starts the book out with action. Lucy is having a mid-life crisis, so she has a bit more difficulty focusing on the crime she is solving, and appears not to even try to enlist much help from her friends. She is living right on the edge, will she step over it?
Love this installment in the Lucy Stone Series.

This series is a fun read, but I didn't care for the lunatic pastor character. Beliefs held by most conservative Christians were quoted by this disgusting man, thus conveying the idea that people who agree with these beliefs are looney too.
sometimes very intense and always enjoyable
