I don't know why I have a thing for snipers but Josh Stelle, the sniper and one of teh main characters in this book is great. I also expecially like his friend Gator Jack.

Favorite quote: "I only believe in corrupting the ones what come out of the womb and grow to at least five feet in height."

Great BAD book. Good story & great characters. Full of mystery, romance & intrigue.

Not worth reading as the story line is weak, the dialogue silly at best and the ending is too tidy for an assassin story, therefore not credible. S.K. should stick to her excellent DarkHunter series.

Another excellent read from Sherrilyn Kenyon. I still like her Dark Hunter Series best, but the BAD books are worth the read. This is the story about J.D. Steele and Sydney Westbrook....brought a tear to my eye at times...but hey, that could be hormonal..heeee!

As long as you're willing to overlook the occasional editorial inconsistency and the farfetched nature of the plot, this is a fast-paced, entertaining read, with cliffhanger endings at the end of the chapters that make it very difficult to put down. Steele and Syd might not be very well-rounded, but they're consistent and fun to listen to, with a definite attraction that helps to make them engaging. I'm not normally a fan of Kenyon - I find her headhopping aggravating most of the time - but this was more than enough to get me to try the rest of the series, a first for me with this author.

Seriously "Bad Attitude." Pretty funny in parts, mostly believable action and nice plot twists to keep you guessing, but not "fantasmagorical." Characterizations were good, with a lot of sass. Enjoyed the read.

Kinda heavy on the sex scenes, but an okay read if you're into that type of literature. Cute and entertaining.

This is one of her better contemporary, "normal" romances. Her Dark-Hunters will always have a place in my heart( and my bed if they want it) but the BAD series rocks

Great beach read. Lots of steamy sex.

BAD (Bureau of American Defense) agent Sydney Westbrook must find the perfect assassin for a risky counter-terrorism mission. J.D. Steele, a military sniper whose attitude problem landed him in prison, seems a good candidate. But as theyre dragged into a secret world of freelance killers, Sydney begins to discover the man of honor and passion beneath Steeles arrogant façade. Its a man even Steel didnt know he could be and a man whose mission will risk the life of the only woman hes ever loved

I would have enjoyed a story with this plot if the characters had been the least bit believable. Instead the two main characters, Syd and Steele, come across as really bad actors in a low budget action flick. And Syd especially was very poorly done. She is supposed to be top notch field agent, but didn't seem to know how to handle herself in the field at all. On top of that, some of the situations they find themselves in are just way over the top. The scene in the hotel where they are getting shot at is just one example. This was my first book by Kenyon, and is most definitely my last. I'm giving it two stars though, because the sex scenes were HOT!

Love Steele. Sexy sniper with a heart. He's not really a bad boy, but he thinks he is. Its awesome that he falls for Syndey. I love the way Kenyon depicts her female heroines- smart, funny, strong, and with real bodies. Keep the dream alive, some men fall for women with curves and not the size 4 that society says they do.

Her first full length BAD book, Kenyon delivers the goods. Slightly less sexy, though no less hot, than the BAD anthologies, the characters are first rate!

The ending was a little weak but still a good, fun read.

Another tale of the sexy heroes of the Bureau of American Defense (BAD). This one features BAD agent Sydney Westbrook and new recruit J.D. Steele, a military sniper whose attitude problem landed him in prison.
