I took me a long time to get around to reading Bad Moon Rising because of the many people that gave mediocre to bad reviews and I didn't want to be disappointed...WELL I wasn't! I thought it was a good book with tons of action, sexy tension and tragic circumstances. I will say there was not a lot in the way of actual sex but how this book flowed I was ok with that. Maybe it was my lower expectations that helped the book but I really haven't been on the band wagon that Kenyon books are not up to par. Yes some of them are short with overly large print but the stories are usually inventive in continuing the fantastic world Kenyon has created. If you are a Dark-Hunter fan I think you will enjoy this book!

Kenyon does it again. I just can't get enough of those were-hunters! Since this story kind of backs up to start Fang's story, it was a little different to follow. But if you have read all of her dark-hunters books as i have, then you will catch on quickly. And has everyone else missed Simi too? I was happy to get updates on most of my favorite characters, while learning what it takes to trully tame a wild wolf. Can't wait for the next one!

I won't go into a description of the book because it has already been done. This book had the potential to be great but I thought it came out just okay. I did not have a problem with the back story that tied in events from previous books like some reviewers. I actually liked that part. I even liked details of how Fang and Aimee's friendship developed. I could have done without the whole "Hell" realm and possession. It seems like the last few books have gone in that direction. Also, this book did not have the steam and passion of the earlier Dark-Hunter books. With all of the buildup of the relationship between Aimee and Fang, the actual one-on-one romance seemed more of an after-thought.

This book was good in that it pulled me in right away & I liked the plot set up. It was a good ending too, & I like the author's flippent writting style.
BUT,it was full of a lot of anger & bitterness. Just about every charicter introduced was tough as nails w/a chip on his sholder & wants to tear someone's guts out. I like to laugh & there wasn't enough humor in it. Angry charicters are good & a needed story element, but I felt this book had too much of that & it gave it an unbalanced feeling.
Some of the jumps in the story plot felt akward. There were things as a reader I was told about that I would have liked to have "been there" and experianced and known more details of.
There are so many different factions & catagries of people,& so many different chariters. There were introductions of new people through out most of the book. It gave it a cluttered feeling. I feel a good writer could do more w/less.
It also had a few typos. Page 153 ia one example. Fang is called Fury.
These different things sometimes made reading it anoying & I plowed through it as fast as I could rather than savoring & enjoying it.

I love love love this series and have absolutely no idea why it's been 2-1/2 years since I've read the last book in this series. As a matter of fact, I will continue by reading [book:No Mercy|7200351] in April.
As usual there is a whole lot going on. Fang and Vane's father, Markus the pack leader, hates them both and is doing all he can to remove them as his heirs. The Arcadian wolves led by Eli Blakemore hate the Katagaria wolves and is trying to destroy them. The bearweres that run Sanctuary are also under attack from Eli who has a blood feud with them. Poor Fang has been tortured and possessed by demons and he just might be in love with a bear. A cross-species mating would be a disaster to Aimee's family. Aimee is the only female that can carry on their line and a mating with a wolf will make that impossible. Enter in Thorn, a demon who appears to be on the side of right but maybe not. Acheron and Simi and a few others join the fun and all hell breaks loose at Sanctuary.
I absolutely love Fang, a tortured bad boy hero, my favorite kind. And bear or not, Aimee is just perfect for him.
The only thing I didn't like was out of nowhere both Vane and Fury are mated. I know the details will be told in their stories but it was just weird. There were a couple of things that happened like that...just happened with no explanation.

Really good story... fills in alot of blanks in Dark-Hunter series, but there's not enuf about the Dark-Hunters themselves. Answers several questions about Arcadians and Katagarians tho.

This book is the most recent in Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series...or more specifically Were-Hunter Series. It is the long awaited, if I do say so myself, book about Fang and Amiee. There is one thing I can say for sure about this book is that it significantly progresses the series plot line. Kenyon is slowly starting to break away from her single book for single character mentality and starting to bleed together the books. I like it, it works and its enjoyable. I enjoyed the character in this book...we get to see more from the Pontier family as well as some new characters and a whole new pantheon is introduced, not to even start on the little piece of information she left at the end. Fang and Amiee have a scorching relationship and it shows in this book. I enjoyed it. The only complaint I have is that she could have eased up on the history lesson in the beginning of the book and made it progress a bit faster. So what will the world be like for those seeking Sanctuary? I guess we will find out.

This is a typical Sherrilyn Kenyon book in that she keeps you smiling, and engrossed to the very end. I enjoyed it thoroughly although kind of gross in some areas.
Just finished this last book so far of the series.....I was soooo not impressed with this one. I have done nothing the last month but read all of the Dark Hunter/Dream Hunter series because, for the most part, have loved them all. Acheron was unbelievable and by far my fave; however, was not loving this one.
I get why the author had to tie in so many stories to get more readers to understand where the entire Dark Hunter/Were Hunter stories came from, but the story seemed all over the place.
The whole Hell thing and Thorn and the demons didn't seem to find a good place in the story to me. But, that's just my opinion. Of course, no matter what, I love these books and will for sure buy the next when it comes out.

I had not read a Dark Hunter book in a while. I think my last one was Acheron. I loved the premise but it was a bit confusing with all the different demons, animals, hunters and so forth but she does do a good job of explaining things. Fang was an uncomplicated character and Aimee was a good fit. Sometimes I think the characters in the Dark hunter books can get a little too complicated but Fang was easy to follow and had good intentions. I really liked this story and it makes me want to start reading her books more often. My favorite book is the first one Fantasy Lover and Acheron.
Great book!! the sherrilyn Kenyon everyone knows and loves is back!!

I didn't think this was her best work, and I agree it did seem to be all over the place as said in another review. I loved that Simi was in it, however, Acheron was no where to be found except in one fight scene, and that was barely mentioned. He's a very important character to the whole series; he should be in or out, not just 'sighted for a second.'
I did like the new characters, especially the ones you can't figure out if they're good or evil. The part with Fang, Savitar, and Thorne was awesome. The end was good and worth the read.

I love the dark hunter series. I liked hearing more about Aimee and also Fang. The last time I read about Fang, he came across as a wuss. He's not that way at all in this book. It was another good read for me.
Sherrilyn Kenyon is another of those gifted authors that can take the paranormal and turn it into a wonderful and exciting story. This was a great read.
Sherrilyn is my favorite author...nuff said.
I loved this book. The author made me care and cheer for Fang and Aimee. The only thing I did not enjoy was the attitude of some of the minor characters. That though could not detract from the happiness I felt for Fang and Aimee.
I enjoyed this book, as I have the other Dark Hunter novels.

I enjoyed this book just like I do all the dark-hunter novels. However, I did feel that the book had a few tediously slow moments and beat a couple dead horses so it gets 3.5 stars.
This all started from Talons story until now. You will know what is going on during the time Fang is in his coma from Vans story and all the hell hes going through from Wren's story. Fang and Aimee's relationship goes through so many ups and downs and Aimee going through hell twice just to save Fang. We see some many unexpected twists and losses that will change Fang and Aimee.

A stunning and suspenseful new landscape emerges in the thrilling Dark-Hunter worlda world where nothing will ever be the same again. . .
Fang Kattalakis isn't just a wolf. He is the brother of two of the most powerful members of the Omegrion: the ruling council that enforces the laws of the Were-Hunters. And when war erupts among the lycanthropes, sides must be chosen. Enemies are forced into shaky alliances. And when the woman Fang loves is accused of betraying her people, her only hope is that Fang believes in her. Yet in order to save her, Fang must break the law of his people and the faith of his brothers. That breech could very well spell the end of both their races and change their world forever.
The war is on and time is running out...
