I was on board with this financial crime thriller 100% until about halfway through, when a couple of characters turned nasty in a way that wasn't consistent with how they'd been portrayed up until then. I finished the book dutifully, not with pleasure. The settings and the financial systems info in the book seem authentic, but the characters are seriously off.
Read it in a day. Good suspense, not the scary kind but the trying to figure out the puzzle kind. Could not put it down.
