This is a light and humorous read; the tale of a single thirtysomething teacher who winds up having naked pics of her posted on the internet and the resulting commotion it causes.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it won't be the last. This book was such a cute read, about a girl who's boyfriend puts a scandalous photo of her on the internet to help him get out of debt. Very fast paced and all around great book.

Barely chick lit - a little less likely and much less fashionista than many, but a fun quick read nonetheless.

Fluffy girl-lit. Good for when you're in the mood for brain candy.

Very witty and charming!!!
Quick read.
When Emily Miller's boyfriend posts a revealing picture of her on the Internet, she's sure things couldn't get worse. Wrong. She then learns that he's desperate to make money before the bank repossesses their house and comes after them for an additional 100,000 debt, incurred by said boyfriend without her knowledge. So Emily moves in with her New Agey best friend, Cara, and tries to maintain her sanity. Then the tabloids camp outside the door of Cara's Hampstead digs, and Emily loses her job as an English teacher. Meanwhile, Cara is having her own relationship troubles, prompting the two women to begin indulging in late-night drinking and spell-chanting sessions designed to right all wrongs and bring love into their lives. Though the plot has a few unlikely twists, and everything works out much more neatly than could be realistically expected, Matthews' book will appeal to anyone looking for a light, funny take on romantic entanglements.

A little bit of fun and a lot of the ridiculous goes on in this book. A good quick read, but not enough to set the heart pounding.
