Although I did not read the first three books in the series, this can stand alone. A charming summer read set at a beach house on the Isle of Palms, SC. Cara rents out her beach house to a young woman who struggles with severe anxiety for the summer. Both women will experience changes that will alter their lives: finding love, grief, and the power of friendship.
