I don't know anyone who didn't totally enjoy Sonny and Chere. I, for one, was so disappointed when the reality of their break-up was made public.I could not put this down. After I read this, I went on You Tube and typed in Chere at Sonny Bono Funeral. She gave the eulogy and having just finished this book I was even more moved to tears as I watched HER crying and pour out her heart validating everything Sonny sanctioned as fact/truth.
She was right, Sonny would have been loving it...hearing her, for communication was not one of her strong suits which was very hard for a person who wore his heart on his sleeve and spoke from the depth of his soul. Now we have in the public eye their beautiful offspring, Chaz...who we knew back then as Chastity. What Chaz has undertaken takes guts whether you are in agreement with right/wrong/indifferent. Get this book somewhere. It is well worth the time to read it. Patfabric
