I used to love this series, but this book was HORRIBLE. The story line dragged and dragged and dragged. So much could have been edited to move it along nicely. I could even skip chapters and STILL know exactly what was going on. I finally just skimmed through the rest of the book to the end. Not what I was expecting at all. If you want a dragged out story, with so many people flitting about that you don't know who is who anymore, this is for you.
Well it finally happened....I finally fell completely and utterly in love with this series! This book was amazing!!! Not sure what it was about this book that made it feel more rewarding to me. Maybe it was the romance (it was there full force), there was finally some happiness(even if it was short lived), the character development, and finally if not all; at least most of the lingering questions answered and story lines wrapped up. Now comes the last installment. Can the gang be sparred their fate? Will Lena bind the new order or will Abraham be there to stop her? Can't wait to read BR. It will be different hearing things from Lena's POV.
I really enjoy this series though it is difficult to describe. Mortal, Ethan Wate and Caster (demon), Lena Duchannes are not supposed to be together. In fact, they can barely touch without Ethan having trouble breathing and getting faint. However the sparks are there and surprisingly real and they cannot stop themselves from being together and touching. In the second book, Lena had to choose between being a Light caster and a Dark caster. She chose both and set the world on edge. Everything in town and apparently the world is messed up: the weather is nuts, the bugs are out of control and the magical people have no control over their powers. The world is coming to an end and it is up to Ethan and Lena to figure out how to stop the coming apocalypse.
