The highly intellectual Anne Carson is at it again with an unforgettable cycle of poems the reader is sure not to forget. If you've read any of Carson's scholarship or poetry, you may be surprised (and even delighted) to find "The Beauty of the Husband" far more easy-going, though not tritely confessional in the least. Also recommend her "Economy of the Unlost" and "Men On Their Off Hours."
