Good book! The entire Beauty series is great. They are an easy read. Out of all three books, I liked this one the least, though, as it had very little to do with Beauty. I thought the series was good, but the author ended it rather poorly...as if she was done writing about this subject and just wanted it to end.
However, if you've read the other 2 books, you need to finish the series with this one to see how things turn out.
Odd ending.
Enjoy!

By far the best of the three books and a satisfying conclusion. Still twisted, still very, very graphic, but also enlightening -- the characters provide an inside view of what the BDSM world is all about. As usual with this series, conservatives and those easily offended might want to pass on this one.

Warning: this book contains extremely explicit sex, both hetersexual and homosexual. Not as good as the first two books, but worth reading to see how everything ends up...

Last installment of beauty trilogy, very explicit story of domination and submission set in the story of sleeping beauty, very interseting spin on the childs story!

In this third and final book in the Sleeping Beauty Series, Rice takes you along with Princess Beauty after she is kidnapped once more to be forced into more sexual servitude. We see that even in this new and strange environment Beauty struggles between her willingness to please and her desire to revolt. But in the midst of all of her inner turmoil, she finds a plight more needing of her attention. Beautifully well written with careful detail shown to the acts being carried out, without being lurid or vulgar. In this book the B/D relationship is overshadowed by something greater. A must read ending to a fantastic trilogy. Rice does a beautiful job of rewriting a classic fairy tale for adult readers wishing to tackle their own inhibitions.
The issue of Beauty's menstrual cycle arose in a review of book 2, to which I say this - suspension of disbelief. It is, after all, fantasy.
Not for the faint of heart or anyone not comfortable with their own sexuality or desires. Strongly suggested to read the books in their correct order.

Anne Rice wrote this book under another name. This book is very interesting. There is alot of sex in this book.
punishment and silly people are not my cup of tea.
I read this series because I heard it was the "original" 50 Shades of Gray, and I like Ann Rice's vampire books. I must say this is nothing like 50 Shades of Gray. There is no love story to carry you through the books, and no real redemption. I don't understand what Rice was trying to convey with this version of a BDSM story but it isn't anything that I enjoyed. The only redeeming factor is that Beauty ends up with a happy ending.
This is the third book of the story of Beauty. I liked the first two better.

I didn't find this book as good as the first two.
Not for the faint of heart. Very graphic erotic series. Final book of the series. Good ending to a very interesting series.
Who knew Anne Rice could write a book like this, well let me tell you, this book is the final installation in the Sleeping Beauty trilogy. Its just as erotic as the first two, but not as exciting as the first book
from the back cover:
In the final volume of Ann Rice's deliciously tantalizing erotic triology, Beauty's adventures on the dark side of sexuality make her the bound captive of an Eastern Sultan and a prisoner in the exotic confines of the harem. As this voluptious adult fairy tale moves toward conclusion, all Beauty's encounters with the myriad variations of sexual fantasy are presented in a sensuous, rich prose that intensifies this exquisite rendition of love's secret world, and makes the Beauty series an incomparable study of erotica. In it, Anne Rice makes the forbidden side of passion a doorway into the hidden regions of the psyche and the heart.

Erotic and odd but good reading if you like this sort of thing. ;) Also, this is not a paperback but is a hardcover. However, that wasn't an option when listing this.
Extremely explicit, NOT for the faint of heart

Third book in trilogy. The conclusion of the Erotic Adventures of Sleeping Beauty.
I did not read these, but bought 1 & 3 from thrift store with intent to. Glancing thru them, I found them too erotic and violent for my taste.

Final volume in the beauty trilogy.
Third of 3, all posted.
Anne Rice writes this 3 part erotic misadventure in her own inimitable style.
