Light mystery that holds your attention. Like the recipes.
Overall I enjoyed the book which is third in the series. But I felt like the conclusion and reveal of the murderer was too quick and really from out in left field. If there were clues I totally missed them.Still a very enjoyable read.

Book #3 in the Cackleberry Club series. Always a fun type of book to read. Re-occurring characters, yummy recipes, a murder to solve and a light love story to enjoy. I like these books that give me a nice getaway in my mind.

Another great book from the Cackleberry Club. The ususal crew is back along with recipes from the Club. The book starts out with a murder in the first chapter and prompts Suzanne to start a new investigation. Suzanne and Sam kick things up a notch with their relationship. Nice cozy to read with a cup of tea.
This series is getting better; the characters are more comfortable with each other, the stories more complex. I still find it hard to believe (in this, and others in the same genre) that the local law person (sheriff, police chief) would willingly share so much information with a civilian.
Fun read

Kept me guessing right up to the end. As always, an enjoyable Laura Childs read! Looking forward to the next installment in the series.
Another great Laura Childs Cozy Mystery with good recipes too for Halloween. Funny and exciting all the way through the story.
