I love the Pitt books and this one is no exception. Story kept taking some unexpected turns, didn't guess ending correctly - a very good read.

Well written mystery by a fine writer. Takes place in 1800s England and Anne Perry captures the history wonderfully.

Perry just keeps getting better and better. This series is worth the read if only for the great characters and the authentic period details. But the mysteries are intriguing as well, so the book is well worth the read.
