The beginning of the book was fascinating, looking at the historical references for the "Biblical" Flood as well as other Flood myths and legends from all over the middle East. Unfortunately, about halfway through the book, it changed subjects to cover more about what happened to the people who were living around the Black Sea (the supposed location of the Flood). I really felt that Ian Wilson could have written an entire another book covering that part of History and focused more on Black Sea Flood. I will give a warning though, the book is written with a lot of historical archeological terms and scientific concepts that can be hard to follow for the common person, but if you happen to have an interest in Early Civilization leading from around 7000 B.C.E. to 4000 B.C.E., then I would highly recommend this book (just make sure you have some background in science and pre-history, otherwise the book is probably not for you.
