This is such an informative, fun book. The writers are associated with training CSI technicians & they are very enthusiastic about spreading the new techniques and creating a new professionalism to this part of law enforcement. The book contains recommendations and reports on what leos from all over the country have learned. But the writers are young and obviously enjoy traveling and getting acquainted with how different segments of the country live. They delight in local cuisine and customs. One of the best features of the book is a little map with very brief local history for each place they visit. They confer with those who've taken classes, explore how those officers are using their training, and describe outcomes and results. I absolutely loved it!

I liked this book. It tells the real stories of real CSI,s working on real cases. Nothing like CSI on TV. Tells how it takes time to have all the evidence analyzed and sifted through. Interesting and informative.
