What a wonderful book! I got this book with plans on giving it to my 13 year old niece, but the 'write-up' sounded interesting, so I decided to read it first. I'm glad I did! I read it cover to cover in a couple of days. I found it enchanting but heartbreaking, wonderful but sad at times. I will give this copy to my niece, but get another to keep in my library. And I'll also look into getting the other books by this author.
This was a wonderful story of a girl with a port wine stain birthmark and how she was teased and accepted because of it. The story was so well done, very developed characters and keeps your attention and interest throughout the whole book. Very well done.
