I REALLY enjoyed this book. As a fundamentalist Protestant, I learned so much about Catholicism (Howard was an Evangelical Christian before he converted as an adult). This book explained so many tenets of Catholicism in a way that I could relate to and that made me want to understand more. This has been instrumental in my seeking out my own faith and deciding whether I may decide to convert one day myself.

An excellent explanation of the Catholic faith. Thomas Howard clears up many of the misconceptions that outsiders have about that faith. He makes a strong statement as to how the sacramental nature of the Catholic Church makes it much more than just a meeting.
