If you have an interest in Civil War history or simply like reading the love letters of historic figures, then I'd highly recommend this book. Stonewall Jackson's military genius is a common topic, but this book provides a window into his personal life, revealing a man of faith, honor, and sentimentality. I have even more respect for him now that I have read some of his personal writings.
