A good historical romance read.
The book was tolerable but had a flimsy plot, unnecessary graphic sex--mostly of the debauched nature and the simpering male character insisting that his beloved simply can't be his because of his illness/pending madness. Yawn. Then there was all the fluff in the Epilogue going on and on about characters you've heard little about, otherwise. At that point, I just wanted to get to the end--but the author did not make it easy to! I have read a lot better historical romances and was not impressed by this one.
