This is the sixth volume in the Berserk manga series. Fans of the anime series will remember this one as the episode where Casca falls off the cliff and Guts jumps after her. This is an excellent installment in this series and I really enjoyed it.

Again, I continue to be very impressed with how much story is covered in each volume of this series. We see Griffith gaining more and more prestige among the nobility and the Band of the Hawk is rising in status with him.

The first half of the story deals with Griffith and the Band of the Hawk back at the palace with the King. The second half deals with another battle that the Band of the Hawk is fighting for the king.

The illustration continues to be very well done and is easy to follow. This manga is categorized as seinen (targeted at adult males) and remains very violent and gory.

Overall this was another spectacular addition to the Berserk series. I continue to really enjoy the story, the characters, the illustration, and all the amazing action scenes. I would recommend to mature readers who enjoy horror fantasy manga with a lot of action.
