PAT F. (patferguson) - reviewed Best of the Best from Georgia Cookbook: Selected Recipes from Georgia's Favorite Cookbooks (Best of the Best State Cookbook) on + 188 more book reviews
I consider myself a good Georgia cook using recipes both handed down and more current.
To me, it looks like the authors went through "southern" cookbooks and picked out recipes in such a random faction that they did not truly reflect Georgia cooking.
There were a lot of facts about Georgia and Atlanta, but all that served was filler.
Since I collect cookbooks, I like to have a wide variety of cookbooks, but to me, I did not feel it worthy at all to keep.
My wish list contained more of the "Best of the Best" in the same series. This one was so bad I have removed the remaining ones off of my wish list.
