A moving autobiography of self-discovery and honesty. John Reid is brutally open about the struggles of being homosexual in the late 1960's and early 1970's.
Interesting book about a boy who grows up hiding the fact that he is gay and finally comes out once he is a young adult and working for IBM. I would assume this is how many gay people live or used to live and it gives us insight to their struggles to find a place in the world that makes them comfortable and happy. Enjoyed the book a lot and am waiting to read the follow up.
This is a classic. It is the story of a boy/young man who is discovering himself and his growing (if confusing) sexuality. It is not a sensationalistic story.
