I really enjoyed this book. The Heroine, Faith, was a pretty standard Higgins character- slightly overweight, funny, clumsy gal. But, Faith had a more depth to her than other characters. I love how Higgins heroine's aren't "barbie" perfect. I loved the hero Levi. He's rough and tough, but so sweet to the people in his town. I would have strangled him to TALK though! The characters were quirky and fun. I liked that the story had some deeper issues of serving in war, childhood guilt over a death, and betrayed love. It made the story more real. Sex scenes are rated pg-13. Not explicit at all.

Disappointed in this latest book. It took too long to get comfortable with the MANY characters and almost half of the book for there to be any real desire for each other between the two main characters. I was out the door to purchase this the day it became available. I may wait until I get the next release from PBS.com rather than purchase it outright.

An introduction to the Holland family and their Blue Heron Vineyard and a look at the youngest of the family Faith Holland as she returns home to face the past and hopefully find her future. She had quite a public happening and ran away from home shortly after to find a new path, but has now returned home.

Although predictable, this book was super sweet. I loved that Faith didn't have it easy in the past and her current story wasn't all rainbows and sunshine! This book did center mostly on Faith's story, but it also set up the behind the scenes of this family and town in Western New York perfectly.

I am so glad this is the start of a new series because it is a keeper! I laughed out loud and cried, not only about the leads, but also because of the delightfully quirky secondary characters. If you like your heros to show rather than speak their love, this is a book for you. I can't wait to spend more time in the Finger Lakes!

I really love the character. Wounded and searching for love and acceptance, both Levi and Faith are easy to like. You just want to go in and explain to them how to get things right!

Perhaps this hit a little close to home as I know of a similar situation. I wanted to cry every time that Faith did (and as long!) Levi is the perfect flawed hero. The interaction of the two was sweet, frustrating and ultimately satisfying. 3.5 stars

So slowwwwwwwwwwww moving I was very disappointed in this story. I liked Faith's character but thought it all had no point and what exactly was the storyline? I forced myself to finish it.

Wonderful story of real life up and downs. Love when you aren't ready for it and from one you didn't think it would be.
Great Summer Read

I have been a fan of Kristan Higgins stories for a couple of years now. I really enjoy her books. I have found her latest books not as engaging as her first. The newer books are too long and drawn out. The story could have been completed in less than 300 pages but she seems to draw them out to over 400.

Meet Faith Holland, the youngest daughter from a prominent vineyard family. After being left at the altar and leaving home she is back to start over. The town has not changed; all her friends are here and even some enemies. Will the guy that ruined her wedding, save her now?
