This book was a huge disappointment compared to Immortal. I expected this book to pick up where Immortal left off, and it kind of did, but not the way I expected. For the first 2/3s of this book, I felt like I was trapped in a bad YA romance. I ended up skimming through at least 200 pages and had no problems still knowing what was happening. The last 1/3 of the book was great and the reason I gave this book more then one star. Since the third book in the series strays away from this story, I'll give it a try at some point.
Enjoyed this book. This is the book that follows Immortal which is another really good read.
