Oh my goodness, this was such a surprisethis is quite the page turnerand though you see it coming, you dont expect to need ithave a tissue ready because about page 200 you are going to need itbut only for a few pages. This story is one most women can relate to. Unexpected relationships, friendships that just happened because the fates said so, not ones you would have ever forged. This reminds us how strong we really are. This story will make you laugh, cry and cheer for the underdog. So grab a comfy chair, two tissue, a tall iced tea and have a great read. Yes, I could sum up this story but that would spoil the fun...get this book and enjoy the read.
Really good, touching story.
Filled with people you'd like to know, a place you'd like to live.
When her husband leaves her for his "hot" yoga instructor and her perfect life does a 180, Lauren Holloway is fairly certain she's hit rock bottom. But then she develops an unlikely friendship with Erin (her new wise-talking neighbor) and Murphy Jones (whose neighborhood diner serves both friendship and fries). With their help, Lauren slowly realizes the only thing she's lost is the barrier to discovering her better half...
Friendship is the daily special in this little cafe.
Another "Get off your butt and move forward" story. Lauren's husband leaves her for yoga and a yoga babe. Lauren moves next door to and bonds with Erin. The characters are likable, the situations are not very believable, but overall, this is tale of friendship. Touching, easy to read.
I really liked this one. There seemed to be a good solid plot line and, even though I knew where it was headed, I still came away thinking "this is right" about the ending. Recommended!
