Really interesting read for Lorraine Heath. London, 1850 or so.
A slower start for my opinion, but a hero you had to love. Definately a twist at the end, not unexpected, but I just hoped for a different turn - the ramifications of which were just to "weird".
That being said, the characters developed nicely and the relationship was good. Not my favorite book from one of my favorite authors, but worth a quick read.

Second book in series. Will definitely read the third. I loved this character in the first book and looked forward to reading his story. As a reader who likes steamy love scenes, I think Lorraine Heath is more warm shower than steam room. But still good and the romance developed in a way that will have me reading more books by this author.

I really liked this book alot because it touched on some issues that most romance novels don't delve into. I really didn't like the ending because it was rather wierd/icky. However, I still recommend reading the book.
